TekCERT is a Self Signed X.509 Certificate Generator runs under Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 2003-2008 Server).
- Generates 1024, 2048, 3072 and 4096 bits certificates.
- Generated certificates automatically installed in Windows Certificate Store with private key.
- All certificate parameters can be configured through TekCERT GUI.
- You can browse, export and delete certificates in certificate store through TekCERT GUI.

To install TekCERT, extract contents of TekCERT.zip to a temporary directory, run Setup.exe from the distribution. Uninstall previous version if you upgrade from an earlier version. To uninstall TekCERT, double click TekCERT icon at "Add or Remove Programs" from Control Panel.
If you familiar with X.509 certificates, the usage is very simple:

Run TekCERT from Start / Program Files / TekCERT.

Click "Generate Certificate" button to create the certificate after filling necessary fields. You need to enter at least a valid "Name" for the certificate. Generated certificates are located in "Local Computer/Personal" store.

You can export public key in .cer (DER encoded X.509) format or with private key in .pfx format in after creating the certificate for client deployment. Click "Browse Certificates" tab, select the generated certificate and click "Export" button.
Free version of TekCERT supports only sha-1withRSAEncryption key algorithm. You can buy commercial version for 29 USD. Commercial version supports sha256withRSAEncryption, sha385withRSAEncryption and sha512withRSAEncryption key algorithms. You will receive your Registration key via e-mail with installation instructions after making payment. Issued registration keys are valid for the latest version of TekCERT so please make sure that you have installed latest version of TekCERT. You can purchase TekCERT from Yasin KAPLAN Web Store.
